• Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth — do not use wet cloths, as moisture can darken matte leather

• Use a nubuck brush or eraser to lift surface marks — do not rub with regular cloth

• Apply a nubuck-specific protector spray every 2–3 months (not regular leather conditioner)

• Keep away from rain and humidity — matte nubuck is the most moisture-sensitive of the three finishes

• If wet, blot immediately with a dry cloth; allow to air-dry naturally away from heat

• Store in a dust bag away from direct light to prevent colour fading

Matte nubuck develops a soft, lived-in character over time — more textured than shiny leather, and just as beautiful.
